Senior Technician | Traverse City, MI

Position Summary:

The Senior Technician is responsible for making a positive impact by supporting the day-to-day activities of the Production department. The Senior Technician will work closely with the Service Manager and be expected to closely follow instructions to execute on all production initiatives.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Display and reinforce the company’s Core Focus and Values.
• Help to manage and direct the Production department to meet and exceed customer service requirements for new and existing customers.
• Provide assistance in facilitating training to all new and existing Technicians.
• Help supervise, schedule, assess performance, and coach Technicians.
• Ensure that all production employees are following Federal, State, and company policies, procedures, and/or regulations.
• Help perform daily technician check-ins and check-outs.
• Help to prioritize the daily workloads.
• Perform inspections on lawns and making service recommendations with customer afterwards.
• Fill in on routes as needed.
• Comprehension of mixing and loading products.
• Provide assistance in the maintenance of production vehicles and equipment.
• Perform other related duties and responsibilities as required to meet the goals of the company

Qualifications:

• Ability to work in a results-oriented environment
• Able and willing to work in various whether conditions for long periods of time
• Able to lift and carry 50lbs
• Strong technical knowledge
• Customer service oriented
• Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent time management, organizational and multi-tasking skills.
• Basic knowledge of MS Office
• Previous experience in lawn care an asset, but not required
• Valid driver’s license and approved by insurance company to drive our vehicles
